So your daughter is about to be married and you have to deliver a speech for the father of the bride section of the ceremony dinner. You want this speech to be a success and more importantly you want the speech to touch your daughters heart. You want to thank all the people you need to thank and you want to send your daughter and your new  son in law into their new life with a warming touching speech from you.

There is only one problem with all of this though. You have not done one bit of preparation for this speech, have not put pen to paper and you all of a sudden realise that there is a reality that your speech could be a shocker.

How can you in a very short time get a father of the bride speech together in such away that it will be a success and will make you daughter very proud go you? Well there are 3 main steps you have to take.

2. Prepare your speech
3. Rehearse your speech

There is plenty of wedding information available on the net. There is even full speeches that you can download and then just change the parts to suit your circumstances. The information you can find is both free and also at a small cost for more professional information.

Once you have the information you have to prepare and construct it. Put the speech together in a manner where it is going to be understandable touching and if you wish humorous in small patches.

The last step is to rehearse the speech over and over. You may need to write the speech out in full or you may need to just have prompting cards. Whichever way suits you make sure you practice it over and over before you deliver it at the wedding.

So just because you are running out of time it is no excuse not to find some quality information to construct a speech for the father of the bride, put it all together , rehearse it and then deliver it successfully at the wedding.
